If audiences are looking for the next end-all-be-all comic book film on par with “Avengers: Infinity War” (2018) or “Endgame” (2019), they will be sorely mistaken with this movie. As with the previous entries into the anti-hero’s trilogy, “Venom: The Last Dance” is simply a dumb-fun romp beefed up with Marvel characters. Viewers can expect the gooey alien to possess a horse while grunting corny one-liners and half-hearted song lyrics. It is pure comic book ridiculous put on screen.

The public event took place at the University Union from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The schedule consisted of three different panels with judges, attorneys, and investigators, including one with exonerees who were wrongfully convicted.

“Joker: Folie à Deux” slowly dragged into theaters on Oct. 4 with little to no fanfare. The film is a musical sequel to the 2019 hit “Joker,” once again directed by Todd Phillips. Set two years after the original, Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) is imprisoned in Arkham State Hospital after his killing spree. A new addition is Lee Quinzel (Lady Gaga), a Joker-obsessed fan who falls for him while imprisoned in the same mental facility.
