Audiologists are healthcare professionals who test, diagnose, and manage hearing loss. They are also trained to evaluate and manage dizziness and balance disorders, tinnitus, and auditory processing disorders. Audiologists are trained to work with people of all ages, including newborns through older adults. They hold a clinical doctorate degree called the AuD, or Doctor of Audiology degree, and a license to practice in their state.
