Reality TV legend Amy Childs has shared the sad news that her mother has suffered a heart attack, reports The Mirror. Amy is best known for her time on The Only Way is Essex. The mum-of-four apologised to friends she hadn't replied to over the weekend as she revealed the scary incident took place on Friday night. Amy went on to share that her "incredibly strong" mum Julie is on the mend in hospital now and is being cared for.

A person was rushed to hospital last night (April 10) after a hot air balloon collided with power cables in a quiet Essex village. Firefighters were called to Earls Colne, a village near Colchester, due to the incident. The balloon landed in a field near Newhouse Road just after 7pm last night after the collision. Firefighters helped give first aid and make te scene safe. They also cooled cylinders in the balloon and worked with the power networks to make the scene safe.
