Louisville basketball targets at the Pangos All-American campVIPLAS VEGAS - University of Louisville basketball coach Pat Kelsey and his staff are recruiting at a high level. The Cardinals have signed elite high school and portal classes in the first two recruiting cycles under Kelsey, and now the focus is on the Class of 2026 and beyond for the staff. University of Louisville football coach Jeff Brohm has said his staff wanted to put more of a focus on recruiting the state of Ohio. And that seems to be the case in the Class of 2026. The Cardinals already have a commitment from Akron, Ohio, wide receiver Payton Cook, and have now added another one of the top 25 prospects from the state. Dayton, Ohio, Trotwood-Madison defensive lineman Jamarcus Whyce has committed to the Cardinals after his official visit.

University of Louisville football coach Jeff Brohm and his staff have done a nice job recruiting the state of Kentucky in the Class of 2026. Now, the Cardinals have added another in-state prospect to the commitment list. North Hardin defensive lineman Josiah Hope has committed to the Cardinals after a weekend official visit, giving the Cardinals six of the top 10 ranked prospects - and seven of the top 12 - from the Kentucky '26 class, according to the 247Sports rankings.

LAS VEGAS - The annual Pangos All-American Camp tips off on Sunday night at Bishop Gorman High School, and Cardinal Authority is here to cover the action. The camp features top-level talent from across the country competing for three days. Around 120 total prospects are in attendance for the camp, which will also include several guest speakers and some skill development stations each day.

Lebanon, Ohio, High School tight end Nick Lautar has started to generate some national recruiting buzz in recent weeks. But after making one official visit, the 6-foot-5, 230-pound Lautar is ready to end his recruitment. Lautar made a visit to Louisville over the weekend and has committed to Jeff Brohm's program, picking the Cardinals over more than two dozen other offers. He had visits to Wisconsin, Baylor, and Cincinnati also set up prior to his commitment.
