The University of Louisville football staff is setting up official visits with top targets in the Class of 2026, including the program's current 13 commitments. U of L will host the prospects over four weekends starting in late May. Cardinal Authority has confirmed many of the visits, including the latest from a Florida linebacker who has been committed since late November. Chiefland, Fla., High school linebacker Jon Adams said he would make his visit to U of L the weekend of June 20.

The college football transfer portal spring window opens tomorrow and runs through next Friday, April 25, and U of L coach Jeff Brohm and his staff are expected to be looking for a few players out of the portal.

Record-setting quarterback Brady Atwell had one of the best careers in state history for Owensboro Catholic High School. Atwell finished his career with a state-record 201 career touchdowns and will play baseball at Western Kentucky University. His backup quarterback last season at Owensboro Catholic was sophomore Dre'mail Carothers. The 6-foot-4, 190-pound Carothers was impressive in his backup duty for the Aces and is now generating some college interest already.
