In the past week, I have been cut off in traffic, honked at, about run over while doing 10 over the speed limit through Atlanta just trying to keep up and, specifically trying not to get run over. I’ve watched a half dozen cars rather obviously run red lights in my relatively small town of Auburn, Alabama. Worst of all, I got dog-cussed on the water. That was the one that hurt the worst, since the water is usually my sanctuary from all the madness of the world.

Wired2fish is proud to partner with Trika to give away one of their Ti Series spinning reels to three lucky readers. Each reel is constructed with a DLC-coated titanium shaft that provides an ultra-durable foundation while keeping weight down and offering a low-friction surface to spin around. An aluminum frame and CNC-machined spool also help keep weight down while providing a rigid chassis that allows for balanced performance.

I recently upgraded to the GoldenMate 12V Bluetooth Lithium Battery for my boat’s electronics, and I’ve been very impressed so far. This battery has an extended run time compared to the lead-acid battery it replaced — while being significantly lighter. It has run my fish finder, running lights, and livewell without hiccup. It’s also a bargain, at less than $300.
