Mario Kart World has a few new items, but the weirdest is the Kamek item. Initially, it isn’t quite clear what the item does, but after you see it a few times, it seems pretty pointless. The Kamek item simply turns everyone into a random NPC/enemy character. Upon turning into the enemy, you will unlock that character and can use them in races. To get the Kamek item, all you need to do is get lucky and get it from the item box. You can then use it to turn everyone into a random NPC enemy.
