Salisbury continued their impressive form with a comfortable 37-6 home win over Chippenham's 2nd XV at Castle Road on Saturday, January 4. They extended their unbeaten run to seven league matches. This underlines their suitability for their recent selection for Dorset & Wiltshire’s Tribute Team of the Month in December. Salisbury's pack asserted dominance early and had a much stronger scrummage. Just three minutes in the hosts kicked ahead and had Chippenham under extreme pressure at a ruck.

4 1/1 Salisbury secured their third consecutive league victory on Saturday with a hard-fought 13–5 win against Combe Down at Castle Road. The match was physical, with a significantly altered Salisbury XV struggling at times to gain field position and sustain possession. Despite their position at the bottom of Counties 1 Southern South, Combe Down proved themselves to be a determined and capable side.

3 1/1 Salisbury welcomed old friends Swanage & Wareham to Castle Road on Saturday for a mid-table clash which was preceded by a very dignified act of remembrance immediately before kick-off. Neither side were able to fully gain control during the match but Salisbury did achieve greater territorial advantage and will have been pleased to put the disappointment of heavy away defeat to Dorchester behind them with a 21-10 home win over Swans.
