The rain yesterday did about what was expected…not too much meaningful up north and more meaningful rains down south. Today though overall looks like a pleasantly mild day as skies clear out and warmer temperatures return. It was near 80° in Maryville yesterday and our temperatures today should easily be in the mid 70s with upside to the north again.

Not too bad of a start today with variable clouds and showers/sprinkles on the sparse side. There was some overnight rain last night, especially south of I-70 but today won’t be too bad of a day, at least through early afternoon. The risk of showers will be increasing though during the mid afternoon hours.

We have another great morning in the area, but we’ll start increasing the clouds this afternoon, and those clouds will lower and thicken up overnight. This is in response to an upper-level storm that will be drifting towards the region tomorrow into Thursday before moving away from the area Thursday night. This will bring at least some rain to the area, but beyond the scope of this storm, it will dry out in time for the weekend and most of next week, as well. Hey, it could be worse.
