    When you look anywhere to the north on a clear night, it’s warming to the soul to see the Big Dipper and Little Dipper in their familiar places — stalwarts of a stellar kingdom. We know the patterns by sight; we can draw them by hand almost without looking. We can do the same with other constellations — like Orion or perhaps Pegasus.

    Recently we had the Full Flower Moon — and as we head into the weekend, the moon will edge closer to last quarter phase. While the moon won’t be nearly as bright as it had been, there will still be quite a bit of moonlight.
