    There’s little news coming out of TCO Performance Center front, as free agency has wound down and the powers that be for the Purple look ahead to the 2025 NFL Draft and pick No. 24 going to the Minnesota Vikings. But that doesn’t mean all is quiet on the Eagan front. Several of the Top 30 prospects in the upcoming draft have visited TCO in recent days and that goes a long way towards speculation on and ask questions about what the Vikes are planning for the biggest day of the offseason.

Rules changes were offered, accepted and reject, coaches and GMs from the many teams across the league spoke to the media and the Vikings officials, as is their want most seasons, talked about their prospective quarterback(s) for the coming year.

    Free agency continues, but it has slowed in its third week . . . with news of signings dribbling like droplets of sap out of Sugar Maple trees in warming temps. There are names and faces remaining, but what’s still hanging on the FA trees wouldn’t cover your pancakes on Sunday morning.

    The Free Agency ride continues for Vikings GM Kwesi Adolfo-Mensah and the Purple. After a huge opening salvo in FA, the Vikings were on the move again last weekend. Kwesi had a busy first week of FA, when he made some big signings to the offensive and defensive lines, and finished up the week by making two big trades to help the Purple. The Vikings traded a sixth-round pick in 2026 for 49ers RB Jordan Mason (plus the team swapped picks (No. 187 for MN and 160 for SF).
