    WARWICK, RI – The School Committee accepted the notice of retirement from Superintendent Lynn Dambruch and named William McCaffrey as Acting Superintendent unanimously Tuesday. Committee Chairman Shaun Galligan, David Testa, Sean Wiggins, and Leah Hazelwood voted to accept the resignation and then to also appoint McCaffrey as acting superintendent. Michele Kirby Chapman was absent. Dambruch has been Warwick’s superintendent for the past four years.
