While it’s not a foggy start to the day, we are watching showers building back into the area as May draws to a close. We’re tracking one final round of wet weather before we settle into a pattern of nicer weather for the beginning of June. A low pressure center to our south will slide a cluster of showers into the area throughout the morning hours. Heavier showers will be likely closer to the Ohio River with rain reaching up to I-70. Showers will remain consistent up to the afternoon hours.

Fog is more widespread and denser across Central Ohio this morning. Once we break up the lower visibility, the rest of today will work towards more seasonable weather for late May. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for areas to our east until 10 AM. Visibility has dropped below a mile for the southeastern half of the area, including Columbus. Fog will begin to lift as we head into the mid morning hours. Skies remain mostly cloudy today.
