Might’ve taken a point before kick-off after recent efforts and all the absences, but a bit disappointed not to win that in the end. Always felt like it was game over at 1-0 under Dyche, but completely the opposite now.

Everton could’ve won 7-0 today and it wouldn’t have flattered them. Quite incredible what Moyes has managed to do in just a few weeks - no chance those goals or results happen under Dyche.

Aged about 10 years in that second half, but what an absolutely massive win that is. Incredible effort from the players to keep a clean sheet, especially after going down to 10. Moyes’ subs spot on, too.

Horrible last 20 minutes, but that was comfortably the best performance of the season. Players knew their roles and there was a clear plan. Forgotten what it’s like to be a threat and score goals.

It might still end in tears and going down under Moyes would somehow feel even worse, but love the thought of him being in charge for Goodison’s final months. Pure nostalgia.

Bizarre timing, but the right decision to sack Dyche. Did a pretty good job for 18 months all things considered, but this season has been awful - performances, style & results have all gone backwards. Fresh start needed.

Was due to be doing a 9+ hour round trip to watch that rubbish at Goodison, but had to cancel yesterday. So, so relieved - nothing new, but watching Everton is just a chore these days. So little to enjoy.

Regardless of City’s slump, being a bit disappointed that Everton haven’t beaten them away is a sign of massive improvement. Still lacking when it comes to goals, but can’t fault the rest of the team.

Farhad Moshiri can point to the new stadium all he wants, but it doesn’t make up for almost destroying Everton over the last few years. He’s been an absolute disaster and was lucky to have a Premier League club to sell. Good riddance.
