As most of us know by now, there’s a distinct difference between an artist we should deem as a “TikTok artist” and an artist who just so happens to find success posting on TikTok. Time has taught us this pretty intuitive concept and today we can apply the latter category to our special guest as we welcome one of the most promising acts I’ve had the honor of covering on the Lyrical Lemonade site.

It takes a very rare set of circumstances for an up-and-coming artist to disappear for a full year and still manage to leave me in a state of anxious anticipation to know what they’re going to release next. The music and artist have to have such a profound effect on me that there’s simply no way to avoid or deny their greatness. After all, things move so fast in music these days that we hardly have a second to digest what’s in front of our faces before we’re already on to the next wave or trend.

TalinwyaTalinwya is a rapper from Huntington Beach, California who dropped the pigskin and picked up the mic and has found success. The former collegiate athlete has been finding his footing and building a name in the underground rap community as of late. Talinwya isn’t the only rapper in the family, his twin brother Kelewya raps and also produces a large part of Talin’s music. The lazy comparison would be to say that Talinwya is a disciple of Yeat.
