A jury announced the verdict on April 10th, deciding the rapper (real name DeAndre Way) acted with malice, oppression or fraud. He was also made to pay another $250,000 in punitive damages.

The Bad Boy rapper’s trial is set to begin on May 5th. The new indictment, filed on April 4th, adds another sex trafficking charge and another transportation to engage in prostitution charge, resulting in the possibility of further time behind bars.

Tue 1 April 2025 12:01, UK Kendrick Lamar was set to release his debut movie this summer, but it has now been pushed back until 2026. The delay comes after the initial release date and title were announced last month. Titled White Springs, the film is produced by Kendrick, South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, and K. Dot affiliate Dave Free. It was initially set to be released via Paramount Plus on July 11th, 2025, but will now arrive on March 20th, 2026.

Filed in the New York State Supreme Court on March 26th, the Bad Boy boss allegedly invited him to his trailer to discuss career opportunities.
