Authorities said they believe there are no survivors in an “absolutely” preventable crash that saw a passenger plane carrying 64 people collide midair with a military helicopter outside Ronald Reagan National Airport near Washington, D.C. late Wednesday, before falling into the partially frozen Potomac River. Timeline Rep. Ron Estes (R-Kansas) said at a press conference that information from federal investigations would be slow to be released: "I know that's frustrating for all of us," he said.
