Del Rio Police Department press releaseOn 05/07/2025 at approximately 10:32 p.m. the Del Rio Police Department responded to the intersection of Avenue G and E. 12th St. regarding shots fired in the area. Upon arrival police located an adult male with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Police sealed the wound and waited for Emergency Medical Services to arrive and transport the victim to Val Verde Regional Medical Center for medical attention.
