Lamborghini, in a number of ways, has the king of VW Group's premium performance SUVs. The Urus SE, with it's twin-turbo hybrid V8 makes the most horsepower of the group. It has the highest top speed. Lamborghini is not, however, a company to rest on its laurels, and that's evident by a prototype example of the SUV that's been out testing.

We finally got to see the third-generation Nissan Leaf a couple of months ago, but that was the extent of it. We only got to see it, while Nissan kept many of the pertinent mechanical details under wraps. Finally, the company is starting to tell us more about the car, and it seems like it will be better in a number of ways. It's more aerodynamically efficient than the old model, and it seems as though it will be better for longer-distance driving.

BMW is preparing to launch its first Neue Klasse models in the coming year. The iX3 SUV will be revealed later this year, and the sedan will likely come sometime in 2026. Those are far from the only irons in the fire, though, and it's looking like the next-generation BMW X5 will be close behind the smaller 3 Series-size vehicles. That's because we've now seen our second example of the SUV, which is an electric one that will likely be called iX5.

Toyota may be lagging a bit on the electric car front, but it's still a leader in the hybrid game. It's showing no signs of letting that lead go, as it continues to shift its models over to the electrified powertrains. The latest to go all-hybrid is the tiny Toyota Aygo X. It's a subcompact SUV offered in Europe, and the hybrid switch seems to be a win-win situation for buyers. Not only will it be more efficient, it's far more powerful.
