Obviously, there's been some great coverage of the WSOP Main Event over the years. The easy answer is the 2003 coverage where the world watched an amateur from Tennessee turn the poker world upside down, but as obvious an answer as that might be, it's not my favorite year of coverage. For me, 2005 was the year. I had been into poker heavily for about a year after first playing in my freshman year of college in 2004.

This is obviously a very rare circumstance that comes up, but in the most recent WSOP online situation, my opinion is that Chris Brewer should get bumped up. He should be able to get that title. I’m more old-school than most. However, I believe that you broaden your poker skills by learning games that are completely different than what you’re used to. This forces you to learn 'bottom of the pyramid' skills and principles that will serve you, no matter what version of the game you play. The absolute crushers of poker (think Shaun Deeb, Scott Siever) are able to play and win at whatever game you deal them in. Fixed limit bettingDon’t even start.

Traveling only 5 minutes northwest of the Strip, paints a grim picture of deprivation and danger. With poverty rampant and violent crime soaring at a staggering 713% above the national average, venturing into this neighborhood means embracing a 1 in 32 chance of becoming a victim of violence. Adjacent to the towering Strat, Naked City stands as a stark contrast to the Strip's glamour. Infamous for its rampant violence and drug trade, this neighborhood is off-limits for visitors.
