    Increased geopolitical disruption is shifting the global map in terms of growth and trade. As the EU heads into a new political cycle, facing high levels of global instability and ongoing growth and competitiveness challenges, its leaders need to adopt new strategies to navigate this new geopolitical normal. BCG analysis shows that global trade will grow at just 2.8% a year between 2022 and 2032, less than global GDP. EU trade will grow even more slowly, at just 2.1% a year.
