Nobody asked for my opinion of the Succession finalé, but I’ve been wondering why something I had been looking so forward to, and which (I concur with most of the world) “stuck the landing” hasn’t prompted me to think about it much or compare notes with published recaps (spoilers ensue). I mean, I still think about Breaking Bad, and The Sopranos (and Lost, sadly ). Here’s a theory: There was really only one thing to resolve, and it was binary.

What's your go-to tool for managing editorial workflows? ✏️Lots of communication. Lots. Anyone who’s ever seen a Gordon Ramsay show knows kitchens only works if the people behind the line are talking all the time, to each other and the servers. So talking is the best go-to tool, but for talking over distances you need a messaging platform, and for the majority of people in journalism that’s Slack, and/or Teams.
