A Breckenridge man was jailed for allegedly going into an apartment, damaging a wall with a hammer and making verbal threats while on meth. Breckenridge City Police charged Nathan Mark Hanson, 38, with felony terroristic threats with reckless disregard and disorderly conduct. Police said around 7:38 p.m. on Thursday on Minnesota Ave. in Breckenridge, Minn., there was a report of a domestic incident and yelling and pounding on multiple doors of the apartments.

A Fergus Falls man allegedly told police he made up an incident to get back at an ex-girlfriend and another man on Monday that caused a shelter-in-place warning. Initially, Wahpeton Police said there was a 911 call of shots fired, but then said Brian R. Hauge of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, admitted the 911 call was fake. Police said the call alleged a man shot his ex-girlfriend. The man and the ex-girlfriend were not aware this was happening and they were not harmed.
