Enrico Sangiuliano has treated his latest music release as an opportunity to put techno producers on game. The Discipline EP on NINETOZERO consists of three tracks by a handful of artists — not the least of which is his own, “The Techno Code,” which offers something of a masterclass in big room techno arrangement. The first few bars of “The Techno Code” sound like a run-of-the-mill techno track.

It has decided that Yewtree Farm in South West England is an unfit setting for the psytrance sounds of Goa Cream Festival, partly citing strongly worded letters from area residents. On April 8, the Council rejected the festival organizers’ request to return to its event site of three years, which sits near the town of Thornbury.
