Eric Segura showed out on one of college baseball’s biggest stages, hurling three shutout innings of relief against USC last week to help Oregon State reach the NCAA Super Regionals this weekend. The former Soledad High hurler was dominant for the Beavers, striking out five, while allowing one hit on 56 pitches. Segura, who is tied for the team lead in wins this spring at 8-2, has made 16 appearances for the 43-13 Beavers, including five starts.
