Dear Rusty:Is there any way I can get out of paying the $185 I am told will be taken out of my Social Security for Medicare Part B when I turn 65? We pay for Medicare all our working lives, and now I have to pay a monthly premium for insurance that only covers 80%. Signed: Disheartened Senior Dear Disheartened:For clarification, the money you paid into Medicare while working during your lifetime was for Medicare Part A (inpatient hospitalization coverage).

What a monumental moment, and the end of an era. After 35 years, ESPN will no longer provide MLB coverage, with both sides electing to opt out of their TV rights contract three years early. This means no more Sunday Night Baseball, Home Run Derby, Baseball Tonight, or Wild Card games. It’s quite devastating, because at one point, ESPN was a great spot for the MLB. The New York Giants have released QB Daniel Jones after six seasons with the team. Giants president John Mara said the sides mutually agreed that it “would be best for him and for the team” to move on, according to ESPN. Jones was demoted to third string on the depth chart in place of Tommy DeVito earlier this week. It has certainly been a bumpy ride for Daniel Jones and the Giants since they drafted him with the sixth overall pick in the 2019 draft.
