Overwatch 2 Season 17 is set to launch on June 24 but Blizzard has revealed what you can expect from the upcoming season of content. Definitely the biggest new feature coming is the addition of map voting to Quick and Competitive modes. As someone who was born in 1992 and has a deep love for the Nintendo 64, I always get happy when I see games from that era make a return. That’s how I feel about the Gex Trilogy, even though I didn’t have much experience with it at all outside of short spans where I rented Gex: Enter the Gecko from Blockbuster. Now that the whole series is back and playable on modern consoles, I can enjoy the highs but I can’t help but acknowledge the lows.

Paul Hellquist, who was the lead designer on the first Bioshock game, held an AMA on the series’ subreddit earlier today to talk about his time developing the beloved title, and also spoke a bit about his upcoming game, Wartorn. The Nintendo Switch 2 has sold over 3.5 million units in its first four days to become the fastest selling console from the company and it’s not even close. While some were questioning how popular the newest hybrid console would be because of its launch lineup and higher price, the hype around the company seems to be just as high as ever. The number comes from Nintendo’s internal data, so this is confirmed.

Nintendo revealed a new entry in the Splatoon series coming at some point in the future called Splatoon Raiders. We don’t know a release date yet, but the game will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2, so Switch 1 owners, sorry, you’ll have to upgrade to the new console for this adventure. The trailer can be viewed in the video below. In Splatoon Raiders, your inkling accompanies Deep Cut to the Spirhalite Islands.
