Warning: Major story spoilers for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 ahead. Make sure you’ve played through the story before reading this article. Like so many others, I found myself lost in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 after its release. Typically, I’m rather hit-or-miss on turn-based RPGs, but the characters and world really sucked me in from the word go. The feeling of helplessness that everyone in Lumiere feels in those opening moments really grabbed my attention.

When Among Us took over the internet during the pandemic, I was one of the many people that fell in love with it. During a time where everyone was locked inside, being able to lie to and manipulate your friends was a ton of fun. As time went on, the name Among Us grew and now is awaiting an animated series. Microsoft has finally announced Gears of War: Reloaded, a second remaster of the original game in the series, which will be released on August 26 for $39.99. Owners of the Ultimate Edition remaster from a decade ago will also get Reloaded for free. Most notably, this re-release of the original game will also include the series’ debut on both Steam and PlayStation 5. As usual, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to play the game on launch without any extra purchase.

Everything from new hero additions, maps, and even a new take on payload maps will be showing up.

Gamers got another big gut punch this morning as Xbox announced pricing updates for the immediate future. Starting soon, various price increases will be happening like the Xbox Series X will be shooting up $100 to $599.99 for the normal disc version, while the Series S jumps up $80 to $429.99 for the 1 TB model. That’s not all because game prices are going up as well, but not immediately. Starting this holiday, some new first-party games will be priced at $80 both physically and digitally.
