What is your opinion of dividend exchange-traded funds? I see that your model portfolio is composed primarily of individual dividend stocks, but don’t dividend ETFs give you the same benefits with less effort? I have nothing against dividend ETFs. In fact, I own several myself. They are a quick and easy way to improve the diversification of a stock portfolio. Nor am I opposed to going with a straight ETF portfolio if that’s what works for you.

Fortis hikes dividend 5.9% to 53.5 cents/quarter or $2.14/year. That's 48 consecutive years of rising dividends for the utility operator. See a trend here? Owning dividend growth stock like $FTS is a great way to fight back against inflation. https://t.co/5u53xju0Je

Glad to have $CPX in my model Yield Hog Dividend Growth Portfolio https://t.co/RGHYmNcE6z Look for the July monthly portfolio update in the next few days. Happy long weekend!
