The strategy was launched by SPARC partners at the Royal Highland Show on Thursday, 19 June, 2025, and sets out the key priorities for the next three years. Five rural crime priorities have been identified who each have a SPARC partner as their lead.

David Gray’s men will begin their William Hill Premiership campaign away at Dens Park on Sunday 3 August, 2025 – kicking off at 3pm. The match will be played on the Sunday, rather than the traditional Saturday, due to Hibs playing in Europe that week. Hibs will host Kilmarnock in their first home league game of the season, with the home fixture pencilled in for Saturday 9 August; 3pm kick-off. This game will be moved to the Sunday due to Hibs competing in European competition.

The call was received shortly before 11pm and a number of properties were evacuated. There were no reported injuries and police said their enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We received reports of a fire at a flat on Gunnet Court at Muirhouse View, at 22.50 hours on Thursday, June 20. “We mobilised five appliances and a height vehicle. “The fire on a third floor flat was extinguished and the last appliances left the scene at 2am.

The pavement was blocked off to pedestrians while investigations are carried out Last night a spokesperson for Scottish Fire and Rescue said: “We were made aware of an electrical fire under the pavement at Morrison Street. “We are waiting on Scottish power arriving. “One appliance is at the scene and we are still in attendance.” The SFRS have been contacted for an update.

Hibees Pride formed in 2022 and have remained an integral part in keeping Easter Road a safe and inclusive place for all supporters. The supporter-led group have twice been represented at the Proud Scotland Awards, which honour those who champion diversity and inclusion in the nation within the LGBTQI+ community. In 2023, Hibees Pride were nominated in the Charity/Group Initiative category, before being shortlisted in the Sports and Recreation Award in 2024.
