Have you ever been good at something, done just about everything you could at that something except for one last big thing? Have you felt the frustration of not being able to finish that job? If so, you can connect with what Rory McIlroy had felt for basically the last 11 years before Sunday's exhausting triumph at the Masters.

Share The news that Cowboy guard Jamyron Keller is going into the portal isn’t a huge surprise. The 6-3 sophomore did start most of this season, averaging just over 5 points per game, and was 4-4 from 3-point range in OSU’s win over Wichita State in the NIT first round. Broken Arrow native Connor Dow went into the portal two weeks ago, meaning the remaining players from Mike Boynton’s last Cowboy roster have either run out of eligibility or decided to transfer.

So far, OSU head coach Steve Lutz is going guard-heavy in the transfer portal. Four commitments (two have signed) and more size in the backcourt. Three of the four are 6-5, meaning more length to defend the aggressive, driving style in the Big 12. All four can score. On Monday, OSU confirmed that Anthony Roy is the second signee from the portal. A smooth-shooting lefthander, Roy averaged better than 25 points per game for Green Bay before a leg injury sidelined him just 11 games into the season.

It was a very simple post on X- Steve Lutz, in an orange shirt and white cowboy hat, sitting on a horse, giving the "Go Pokes" salute. The OSU head coach, who was formally introduced one year ago tomorrow, is telling Cowboy basketball fans he's staying. Sources had told us Lutz was on a list of potential candidates for the opening at Texas A&M, and with him being a San Antonio native it's understandable that there could have been some interest.
