It's still not the same as the "old days," but the non-conference Bedlam basketball matchup will be back next season. Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports was the first to report that a game between OU and OSU will be played at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, just like in 2024. The date for the matchup is Saturday, Dec. 13. The Sooners won last season's matchup 80-65 in front of more than 10,000 fans. Both teams will look vastly different next season.

There are now two OSU quarterbacks in the transfer portal. CBS Sports was the first to report that Garret Rangel is searching for a new college home. Rangel started five games in two seasons for the Cowboys, recording a fast start at BYU last October before breaking his collarbone on a long run. Rangel had the most experience of the four quarterbacks battling for the starting job this spring, and completed 5 of 6 passes in the Orange and White spring game on Saturday.
