All of us could benefit from some goodwill this holiday season. Those of us involved with BCAR would like nothing more than to have all of our dogs adopted by the end of 2024. What a grand holiday gift that would be! It’s of critical importance to keep the word “rescue” in mind as part of the name and mission of Big Canoe Animal Rescue. Most dogs come to us with significant challenges. Many have been abandoned and neglected. Some have health issues. And some do not trust people when they first arrive.

We all love Uga, but the good citizens of Big Canoe, Georgia, and most especially those of us involved with Big Canoe Animal Rescue (BCAR), respectfully ask you to consider selecting one of our rescue dogs as a backup in case Uga ever has to miss a game due to a vet visit or family conflict.
