    CANTON — For three years, the North Ridge‎ville softball team was ousted from tournament play in the regional semifinal round. Come this year, the Rangers turned their fortunes around. Jumping to an early 6-0 lead, North Ridgeville held on for a 7-5 win over Walsh Jesuit in the first of two regional semifinal games at Willig Park in Canton. The win puts the Rangers (20-5) in the regional championship game on May 30 against the winner of Riverside and Brecksville-Broadview Heights.
