Looking to avenge their defeat to the Cider county in last season’s semi-final, the Londoners were on the receiving end of a strong batting and bowling display as Somerset gave their short format campaign lift-off in front of a raucous sell-out crowd.

    Lynn ABC’S Frankie Hanratty has become a two-time ABA champion. Hanratty fought Sameer Kanji from Southall ABC last weekend in the under-57kg Championship and won it for the second year in a row. It was a close contest with both fighters having success over the three rounds, before Hanratty won by majority decision. It was the second time the pair had met this season. Hanratty won the first bout on a unanimous decision but his opponent showed big improvement to make it a much more competitive bout.
