Here’s the news: “The Olympic mountain bike event in 2028 will be held at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas, California. This park, located in the San Gabriel Mountains, is a 1,800-acre park that will be upgraded with a world-class mountain biking course.” Bonelli Park lies about 28 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. Bonelli Park been the site of numerous races over the years, even drawing Nino Schurter to the event in the past.

America’s Christopher Blevins scored a rare double win in Araxá, Brazil this past weekend. It was one of the rare instances where one rider won both the Short Track Cross-country (XCC) race and the longer-course Cross-country Olympic (XCO)race. The results, paired with his win the previous weekend in Brazil, make Blevins the rider to beat in this year’s World Cup series.

The second round of the Araxá, Brazil World Cup event kicked off on Friday, April 11, 2025. America’s Christopher Blevins repeated his success from last weekend to take the win today, too. Victor Koretzky took second again, the same as he did in the opening round of the Short Track last Saturday. Nino Schurter placed third among the men, showing that’s he’s still one of the strongest men in the field. Great Britain’s Evie Richards repeated her win from last weekend in the Elite Women’s race.
