La interrupción del tratamiento frecuentemente se realiza sin el respaldo del médico prescriptor, quien puede temer una recaída del paciente. Este estudio tiene como objetivo comprender mejor el proceso de abandono de los antipsicóticos desde la perspectiva de los propios usuarios.

It was prompted, in part, by events on social media last month. On January 17th three ECT recipients and three psychologists, including myself, launched the first-ever international online survey for ECT recipients and their families,1 which will be open for at least three more months.
