    CD Projekt Red (CDPR) has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2 has entered pre-production.     A Redditor by the handle VersauteGurke recently posted their travails with the power cable of an MSI GeForce RTX 5090. The cable, with its bright yellow-tipped head, had melted due to the insane amount of power flowing through it. VersauteGurke said that his PSU was a Corsair HX1500i, which is more than plenty for a GPU like the RTX 5090 and its 575W TGP. “Over the past few days, I’ve been experiencing an issue where my monitor suddenly turns off and shows a “DisplayPort not connected” message.

    Intel’s Israel office recently filed a lawsuit in the country’s court, alleging a rather sophisticated embezzlement scheme that could’ve costs the company over US$840,000 (~RM3.56 million). The lawsuit addresses a Natalia Avtsin, a former employee in the chipmaker’s hardware production department, along with a former supplier. Avtsin’s employment at Intel was terminated in November 2024, and was unrelated to any suspected misconduct and was done as part of the brand’s staff reduction.

    ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT), one of China’s top DRAM manufacturers, has been asked to phase out its production of DDR4 memory and focus on making more DDR5. The directive was reportedly given by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The directive is something of a surprise, particularly since the company recently began mass production of DDR4 memory late last year.

    Back during CES 2025 earlier this year, I had the chance to literally have a brief seat on Razer’s Iskur V2 X gaming chair. It felt comfortable at the time but as it is with demo booths, I couldn’t draw any conclusive points until I had a right and proper sit-down with it. Fast forward to today, Razer was gracious enough to send me one unit to use and stress test as I see fit. What Am I Looking At? Well, it’s a gaming chair.
