    Jacksdale's British Superbike champion Kyle Ryde and title rival Glenn Irwin have donated their podium bonuses from the recent Donington Park second round to the families of the late Owen Jenner and Shane Richardson. Jenner, 21, and Richardson, 29, were killed in a multi-rider incident in a Supersport race during the Oulton Park season-opener earlier this month which led to an outpouring of support from the racing community in the aftermath.

    Mansfield Town are set to face fast-rising National League North side Macclesfield away in a pre-season friendly at The Leasing.com Stadium on Saturday, 12th July. The fixture against Robbie Savage's promoted Silkmen will kick-off at 3pm.     Hucknall maintained their good start to the Nottinghamshire Premier League season with a 116-run victory at Plumtree on Saturday and sit fourth in the table. Winning the toss and electing to bat, Hucknall chalked up 284-5. Captain Sam Johnson hit 93 off 80 balls, Daniel Blatherwick an unbeaten 57 and Ryan Buckley 40. Johnson and Blatherwick put on 150 for the fourth wicket and Johnson's innings including 10 fours and two sixes. Hucknall's bowlers then got to work and reduced Plumtree to 3-26.

    Papplewick & Linby crashed to a 37 run home defeat to Notts & Arnold Amateur after a catastrophic early batting collapse proved costly in their Nottinghamshire Premier League clash on Saturday. The visitors chose to bat first and were all out for 219 with seven balls to spare. Rishan Herath (79), Gurman Heran (55) and Arnav Jumie (26) led the way with the bat with Sam Walker taking 4-39 with the ball. But Papplewick's run chase saw them fall short on 182 all out in 45.4 overs.
