    Does it seem like I only ever use this blog to promote my band’s performances? That might be the case, but this isn’t like most of our other shows. For one thing, it isn’t in downtown Vancouver, and it is also the earliest we have ever played. On Saturday, August 19, the Starling Effect will be playing at the Admiral Pub on Hastings in Burnaby. Okay, so maybe Burnaby Heights isn’t exactly “the suburbs”, but the other part is definitely true.
