Creative Destruction is economist Joseph Schumpeter’s masterpiece concept from “Capitalism, Socialism and Democracy” written in 1942. It is about how all forms of innovation blast away the relics to make room for shiny new ideas. We went from spinning records to streaming tracks, obliterating the brick-and-mortar mall music shops. Then smartphones came along, making digital cameras and MP3 players as relevant as a Kalesa outside of Intramuros. Nice but no longer necessary.
