Please allow me to share my thoughts regarding the issue of the lake harvester which city council recently decided not to sell, despite extremely limited use since purchasing it several years ago. Based on the figures described in Tribune article of April 10, the cost of removing aquatic vegetation from the lake by the machine so far is in excess of $1,000 per pound of harvested material (50kg , after a reported outlay of $123,000).

Review EquipmentThe Accent is installed atop AVID’s excellent Platform, providing optimum isolation from external vibrations, and fed by my two primary sources. Like the ‘57, the MD 421 has long been favoured as a trusted workhorse for guitar cabs, bass, brass instruments and drums, especially toms. During its first decade of production, it could be seen used as a live vocal mic for everyone from The Beatles onwards. It remains a fantastic tool both on stage and in the studio.

£209 / $199 / €219, warmaudio.comIt seems like every piece of classic studio gear is available in some form or another these days. The clue’s often in the numbers — an ‘87’ here, a ‘73’ there — not to mention the virtual emulations of historic recording facilities, vintage hardware and iconic acoustic spaces.
