Reading the tea leaves - and social media - to see what the future holds for Inland Empire diners. I’ve been keeping an eye on several announced restaurants and fellow columnist David Allen has shared some that he’s encountered in his travels across the region. Starting in San Bernardino, we’re still waiting for the city’s third Albertaco’s Mexican Food location, at 2858 N. Del Rosa Ave. The restaurant has appeared close to opening since January.

Black Bear Diner is offering a trio of Basket Bundles for $11. The meal deals come with a sandwich, side and a drink. Sandwich options include a breakfast sandwich, a crispy chicken strip sandwich or a cheeseburger. The bundles are available when you dine-in weekdays for a limited time. Inland Empire locations include Rancho Cucamonga, Moreno Valley, Chino, Rancho Cucamonga, Colton, Murrieta, Menifee, Barstow and Yucca Valley.
