There is precious little news from the current 2025 New York Auto Show, but it does underscore two facts: 1.) Electric vehicles (EVs as well as hybrids) are still the future, and 2.) It is forbidden to talk about Trump's tariffs. Elon Musk, your fascia's showing. Tesla has recalled the majority of its ugly duckling Cybertrucks because they are literally falling apart. In a field littered with the corpses of electric car startups, a new entry is hoping it can deliver the goods where companies like Fisker have failed. Longbow, the new entry, plans to hand-build the new electric sports cars in the U.K., with final retail pricing starting at about 65,000 pounds sterling (that's roughly $85,000 U.S., give or take a trade war or two). Something Canada should do and can do is revoke #ElonMusk's Canadian citizenship. Canadians can help by signing a government petition. (Yes, that guy illegally firing all those U.S. researchers, nuclear oversight workers, etc., is Canadian.) https://t.co/C3uBZTw5Jr
