IntroductionIn 2050, the population will exceed 9.7 billion inhabitants and food shortage problems will reach a critical state, aggravated by environmental problems and nutrient shortages on earth []. Under this context, the number of research projects related to solving food problems has increased, studies based on the microbiome being a focus of great interest, especially those related to diets in animals.
