The Hokie football team has a brace of new critical coaches due to the departures of DC Chris Marve, OC Tyler Bowen, and Offensive Line Coach Ron Crook. The existing staff, and the new additions, Sam Siefkes, Philip Montgomery, and Matt Moore have been supplemented by an entire brace of new position assistants that Bryan and I need to go over with everyone.

It’s not that the team seemed down, but it did feel like something was just not comfortable and “happy”. Matilda had a superhero facemask on to protect her bashed nose from the NC A&T game, and that bothered her.

John Schneider - SB Nation Coach Duffy reached down into the bench for this one. Freshmen Ramiya White and Myah Hazelton even got some playing time. But some of that came from Coach Duffy just trying something to shake things up in the 1st quarter. The Hokies just didn’t get off to a very good offensive start as they missed something around 7 shot attempts from inside and outside and hit nothing in the first 4:22 of the quarter.
