BOSTON — The New York Knicks did it again. Down 20 in the third quarter of Game 1. Down 20 in the third quarter of Game 2. Two huge comebacks. Huge plays on both ends of the floor. Contributions from everybody in the rotation. Two incredible wins … on the road … against the defending NBA champions. This one was a little uglier, but just as stunning, a 92-91 victory that gave the Knicks an improbable 2-0 series lead over the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
