As the Cleveland Browns prepare for the NFL Draft on Thursday, I’ve heard enough Browns fans say, “Well, don’t just take a quarterback at No.2 just because…” when referring to Shedeur Sanders, the polarizing quarterback from Colorado. We are a week away from the NFL Draft being held in Green Bay, and the Cleveland Browns certainly sound like they are locked in on taking Travis Hunter, a wide receiver and cornerback from Colorado. The Browns General Manager, Andrew Berry, spoke very highly of Hunter at his recent press conference, comparing him to baseball player Shohei Ohtani, who plays both hitter and pitcher. The Cleveland Browns have been busy these last few weeks meeting with potential draft picks. They have the No. 2 draft pick and, because of that, will have their pick of players at their current drafting spot. They also hold the No. 33, 67, and 94 picks as well through the first three rounds of the NFL Draft. The draft is only about two weeks away, beginning on Thursday, April 24, from Green Bay, Wisconsin.

So this move by the Giants may have a bearing on what other teams in the league, including Cleveland, might do.

It was No. 1 vs. No. 2 in the MAC Women’s Basketball Championship down at Rocket Arena in Cleveland. The match up between two giants of the MAC, Ball State Cardinals (No. 1) and Toledo Rockets (No. 2), did not disappoint. In the end, the Cardinals’ grit and toughness down the stretch lifted the team to a 65-58 win, its first MAC title since 2009.
