Sidmouth Town were the successful side beating higher league opposition Wellington who members of the Western League 3-1. It was Wellington who went in front in the 19th minutes when a deep cross was played back across the goal before being headed past Elliot Driver.

    Beer Albion put five past North Molton Sports (Image: Contributed) Taylor Rooke hit a hat-trick as Beer Albion put on a much- improved performance to take all three points in a 5-2 Devon League win at North Molton Sports. Beer created the better chances in an even first half with Billy Knox especially unlucky when he hit both posts. The scores were level 1-1 at the break before the home side went 2-1 in front against the run of play.

    There was a feast of goals for followers of Uplyme Football Club to celebrate last weekend with the club’s two sides hitting a total of seventeen goals and conceding only one. In Division Four, the first team mauled local rivals Colyton Seconds 12-1 at home while the Reserve side beat Winsham United 5-0 in Division Two of the Perry Street and District League.
