Residents Bill Hodgson and wife Marion Jay joked about starting a group with weekly meetings of the Grumpy Club to share gripes. But due to demand, the village of Wootton Courtenay, near Minehead, Somerset, is ready to prove it is the grumpiest in the UK. Even though the population is only around 269 people, the majority want to be members.
