Praise Nnamdi Ezechibueze, a third year student studying medical diagnostics in the University of Delaware’s College of Health Sciences, passed away May 6, 2023. He was 21. In a message to the campus, President Dennis Assanis said, “On behalf of the University of Delaware community, I want to express our heartfelt sympathy to Praise’s family and friends.

A campus memorial for Sabrina Navaretta, the University of Delaware freshman who passed away April 28, will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 17, in Mitchell Hall. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and students, faculty and staff are encouraged to arrive early to leave a remembrance for Ms. Navaretta to be included in a memorial scrapbook. Ms. Navaretta was an Honors student in the Lerner College of Business and Economics studying management.
