The now iconic trilogy returns in better shape than ever. In a new blog post on EA’s website, the upcoming release for F1 25 details its global launch, soundtrack, PC specs and more. Let’s dive into the detail, shall we? F1 25 has a couple of editions, and you’ll be able to preload the game on either your console or PC well in advance of release. If you’re on Xbox Series X|S, Pre-load begins on May 15th. PlayStation’s pre-load is a little later, on May 25th for the Iconic Edition, and May 28th for the Standard.

As reported by CNBC, Microsoft have today announced that it is laying off approximately 3% of its total workforce across all levels worldwide – and that’s going to affect over 6000 people. This estimate is based on a recent official headcount of Microsoft, which sat at 228,000 employees as of June 2024.

Towerborne has been out on Game Preview via Xbox Game Pass for a couple of weeks now, as developers Stoic continue their early-access journey to turn this side-scrolling beat-em up into a polished gem. Developer Frogwares have released The Sinking City Remastered, and even better, it’s a free upgrade to all existing owners of the original, on all platforms, be it Xbox Series X|S, PC or PlayStation 5. The Sinking City Remastered is available today. The Sinking City was originally released back in 2019, developed on Unreal Engine 4.

Towerborne finally launched into Xbox Game Pass via Game Preview last month, enabling cross play with its Steam and Xbox PC counterpart for the first time. It wasn’t all smooth sailing, but the developers have moved swiftly to correct any problems. Towerborne gets a new patch to correct a few hiccups. Shared via a brief blog post on Towerborne’s website, the developers thank players for the time spent in Towerborne since the game came to Game Preview on April 29th.

Looks like the United States FCC have accidentally leaked some images of Xbox’s “Project Kennan”, a new device from partner ASUS, which appears to be, in essence, the ROG Ally 2. Project Kennan was first reported by Windows Central as a part of Microsoft’s first tentative steps into new hardware, sort of. Rather than a purely native Xbox handheld, this would be a partner-led device with ASUS, an existing manufacturer of the pretty great ROG Ally, a Windows 11 handheld gaming PC.

Out of nowhere, and perhaps to make up for the recently announced delay, Rockstar have just dropped a bombshell. That’s right – GTA6 gets a new trailer. The trailer reaffirms the games new release date of May 26th, 2026. In it, we get to learn a little more about Jason and Lucia, residents of Vice City, USA, who have to deal with the fallout of an “easy score gone wrong“. Per the developer description – “Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them.
