Credit: Jon Fingas You can easily find reasonably powerful foldable phones in North America. However, there’s frequently a catch: a slightly outmoded chip, a mediocre camera array, a fragile design, or subpar battery life. Even Motorola, which helped spark competition in foldables with its Razr revival, wasn’t immune to this, with devices that struggled to last a whole day or took lackluster photos. The Motorola Razr Ultra theoretically challenges this assumption.

Vancouver firm CO280 has struck what it claims is a “historic” 12-year deal with Microsoft to remove carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from an American paper mill. The company and its technology partner SLB Capturi plan to sell almost 3.7 million tonnes of CO2 removal to Microsoft. The project will be designed to capture biogenic (biological origin) emissions from boiler stacks by retrofitting them with capture equipment and storing the CO2 permanently in geological formations.

I can't pretend to be an ideal champion for LGBTQ people as Pride month kicks off, but I'm a resolute one. They're people trying to muddle through life like anyone else. They deserve equal opportunities, rights, and respect.

Prime Minister @MarkJCarney has written a mandate letter asking ministers to help deploy AI "at scale" in government. It's too early to say how this will work, but it's not surprising — the aim is to help productivity while keeping costs down. #canpoli https://t.co/I8aRz3pkZI

I reviewed the @Moto Razr Ultra — it's a phenomenally quick clamshell foldable phone that can replace flagships in the right conditions. #android https://t.co/yDuiHpqW8f
